Samira Miche’ (Sista Misses), is a multidisciplinary creative whose work bridges the worlds of visual art and music. As a pen and ink artist, she captures ancestral narratives, Gullah Geechee heritage, and Black identity through intricate linework and portraiture. Her pieces often reflect themes of memory, history, and cultural pride, rooted in the spirit of the Lowcountry.
When she’s not drawing, Samira commands the decks as a DJ, curating soulful, genre-blending sets that fuse house, hip-hop, Afrobeat, and experimental sounds. Her performances create immersive vibes that move both body and spirit, whether she’s playing underground events or cultural gatherings.
Through both sound and visual storytelling, Samira creates meaningful experiences that honor the past and energize the present.
